ELIGIBILITY New incoming Schulich Doctoral level (PHD) students, who: • Has been offered admission to the program and is planning to start the PHD program in the Fall/Winter term. GUIDELINES • Please complete this mandatory form in order to be eligible to receive Fall and Winter funding. • The expenses and resources section must be completed for a 8-month period. For incoming Fall students, the study period for 8 months would be from September to April. • Please include any expected earnings from TAing, RAing, CDs, etc. as well as the Schulich guaranteed funding in the resource section. • Please ensure that you select the appropriate declaration statement at the bottom of the application and hit "Submit". • To avoid delay in receiving funding, please complete the form by the deadline in order to receive your funding before the tuition fee due date. • If you require assistance in completing this application, please contact finaid@schulich.yorku.ca. TIMELINE Tuition fees are due on the 10th. In your first term, you are required to pay the outstanding balance on your York Student Account net of the confirmation deposit and the first installment of the funding as outlined in the funding letter offered to you from the School. In all subsequent terms tuition is due on the stated due date for that term in full. Tuition due dates are the same from year to year: · Fall tuition is due on September 10 · Winter tuition is due on January 10 · Summer tuition is due on May 10 TIPS Please complete this financial statement on a timely basis to avoid delay in funding being posted to your student accounts. This application must be completed in one attempt. In order to be prepared, have the following item ready: • Financial information such as resources and expenses for the 8-month study period. Please use approximations where possible. • Students will be emailed a copy of the application form after submission. Please keep it for your records until graduation.
